DRESS IS PERFECT!

I left school at 4:00 on Friday to go meet mom and head up to try on my dress. Mom and I met Aly and Victoria at the shop and I headed to the back and put on my dress and came out to show everyone! IT WAS PERFECT! A few minor alterations and we are good to go. The dress is in secret hiding away from everyone's eyes, especially Bailey's! :)

Picked out all the wedding ceremony songs this weekend and made my bridal bouquet, it was a quick successful weekend!

Cake Tasting and Dress

On Monday January 17th, mom and I had the day off to MLK Holiday and celebrated by having a cake tasting at 11:00am. We went to Texas Star Bakery in Hurst and enjoyed sample cakes and we finally booked a place for Bailey and I's cakes!!!!!! They are delicious and they will look absolutely beautiful, it's a surprise so not posting on here. :)

I am sure that all of you girls out here that are married and have gone through the dress waiting process understand exactly where I am coming from. I have been waiting since August for the phone call that my wedding dress is in, and it has been a lifetime waiting for it. IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!! I get to go on Friday to try it on and see if any alterations are needed and I am absolutely overjoyed! I know I will fall in love with it all over again because it is exactly what I wanted and I knew it the minute I put it on!

Snowy Sunday!

Well today was a snowy day out of nowhere. Bailey and I enjoyed the whole day together. We were lazy all day and then we would go out and play in the snow. We ended up getting quite a bit of snow and when it stopped coming down we went out to build a snowman. It wasn't a productive day, but it sure was a fun day!

160 days until our big day....let the countdown keep getting smaller! :)

Christmas 2010

WOW! What a fabulous Christmas with both of our families. We headed over to my parents house on Christmas Eve early afternoon to start the holiday. Mom, Dad, Aly, Derek, Charles, Grace, Ava, Bailey and I all enjoyed playing the Wii, delicious food/desserts and drinks for Charles' 21st birthday celebration. Christmas Eve was fulled packed with making sure everything was ready to go for Christmas Day. We woke up bright and early on Christmas and Aly had coffee cake baking while I started the breakfast burritos. The boys and munchies were in the living room waiting to open stockings. We all opening stockings, ate breakfast and finished off the morning opening presents. Before we knew it, it was afternoon and we were ready to enjoy lunch and the football and Wii all afternoon. It was a great time at mom and dad's all of Christmas and we enjoyed celebrating and dancing for birthday celebration too.

On Sunday morning Bailey and I packed up the car and headed on down to Beeville,TX to spend some time with his side of the family. After 7 hours of being in the car we couldn't have been more excited to reach our destination. Everyone was waiting for us and as soon as we got there we enjoying some dinner and then relaxing. The next day, the girls went shopping in the afternoon while the boys stayed home and watched movies all day. We grilled out and enjoying a Christmas dinner that evening before topping it all off with a Wii bowling tournament. The last day that we were there we relaxed the entire day before heading out early the next morning to head back to Dallas.

We got back to Dallas on Wednesday and then enjoyed some time together to celebrate the New Year with our friends. It was so nice to finally have Bailey off the entire Christmas Vacation and get to spend some time with him. We are all back in full gear with work and getting more and more excited for June 18th each day! Thanks to all of our friends and family who made Christmas and New Years exciting, we love you all very much.
